MGL50 high gain amp head used to demo 5 of the more popular speakers being used in various speakers cabs. The same recorded guitar track was used thru each speaker. So same guitar and exact same settings on the amp. You will hear the same tonal differences with either of the MGL50 model amps.

The new MGL Ampworks MGL50 HG model is a fire breathing classic with modern tones under the hood. This amp FEELS like my old 1971 metal panel Marshall. There are ringing harmonics and the chewy purr of the gain coupled with the vintage feeling sag to the attack that has an explosive punch that follows. Its REALLY fun to play and has satisfying tones. Hard to describe this one and Im not entirely sure I captured it as good as possible, but it sure was fun trying.
